Business Insurance
Discussion
I need insurance for my web design/development company, being IT based we are responsible for peoples businesses, many of which are their sole source of income. And we integrate ecommerce websites, so there are monetary transactions taking place, security issues etc...
I dont have time to spend a day ringing all the companies out there, reading the small print and hopefully-eventually finding the perfect company... can anyone recommend a company as being the business, when it comes to good reliable no loop holes business insurance?

Why don't you simply use a reputable broker ? It's their job to go through all the small print, underwriting differences etc, to come up with a pol that suits your exact needs. OK you pay more than going to one of the "direct" insurance outfits but what the heck - if you're in business, your time is money.
Remember also that under the law of agency, the broker is acting for YOU. A "direct" insurance outfit only wants to sell you THEIR product.
So get some good professionals around you (lawyer, accountant, insurance broker, IFA etc) & be prepared to pay for good advice. It'll pay dividends in the long run.In my experience, good professional advice pays for itself many times over. If it doesn't, you're dealing with the wrong firm.
Ask friends you know in business, whose judgement you trust, to recommend their broker. Don't think about trying to find one through yellow pages & the like.

If I did need to claim on insurance, choosing the right company (without killer small print) could turn out to be the wisest decision of my business career.

If I'm reading this right you are looking for Professional Indemnity insurance.
I know that Norwich Union do this kind of cover, but also heard of another one with good feedback called Dallas Kirkland (www.dallaskirkland.co.uk)
Hope this helps
