It finally happened. We're so desperate to keep customers that two of our staff (inc. me, obviously) have had to join a bloody trade union just to be allowed on their closed-shop site.
We got our own back though; we costed the job so that the union dues are included in the bill to the customer... :D
The problem we have now of course is that as we've duly elected a shop steward (not me) and declared our office a closed shop, none of the other staff are union members so we've called a strike against the blacklegs and will be downing tools for two days, starting Friday evening... oh, wait....
