Place carbon under immense pressure.

Synthetic diamonds are pretty bloody good and De Beers were on the ropes for quite some time.

The idea of having your loved one compressed to the size of a very very very small diamond I find utterly ghoulish personally.

They use huge amounts of pressure, you can make diamonds out of your pets as well.

I think I would feel a bit strange wearing a dead person on a chain

OTOH, diamonds are forever - do you really want your mother-in-law forever?

Good thinking Size Nine Elm!

I now have a mental image of her on the end of the new mistresses wagging finger!
