How many f:censored:ing times do Radio1 have to play this song?

I quite liked it at first, bit different to most songs about, but they're playing it about 5 times between 9 and 5 most days now. Talk about overkill.

Real shame...

Coldplay leave me as cold as a very cold thing on a particularly cold day.........in winter.

I don't know the song nor have I suffered it's being over played, but I know what you mean about over playing

Cheers Rico! Today was the first day this week that it wasn't nagging away at me - I was experiencing clear thought! Not any more

This has to be one of those songs for anyone contemplating suicide... it is so down and miserable sounding! Also annoyed at the frequency it is played on Radio 1 and Capital FM!!!!

Agreed, sick to death of it!
Whenever it comes on the radio (which is often) I have to switch it off!

So it’s like all their other songs really? Incidentally I never liked Cold play to begin with so this subjection really isn’t making me want to buy any of their records.

Don't you just hate it when you hear a song you really really like, but don't know the name of the group/artist or song title! There are two on XFM's X-list, that I love, but couldn't tell you what they were.

Shazam should be able to tell you. Dial 2580 on your phone while the song is playing, and you get a text back with the title etc.

I think the song is average, save for the instrumental build-up interlude in the middle before Chris sings "tears streaming" - I think that part is brilliant.

I listen to Bristol GWR FM, and they are playing this song a hell of a lot as well.

And I wish they'd stop 'cos it's an absolutely AWFUL song.

The first time I heard it had me grimacing as Chris Martin squeaks away in his dreadful falsetto for nearly a minute non-stop. SHUT UP! Come back when you have learnt to sing.

I've just bought my wife the new Coldplay album for her birthday, so doubt I will hear many of their songs over and over again.

They aren't so bad.

Now they're paying the new Robbie Williams track.

Did someone put his balls in a vice before he sang that?

Sorry to those who have remembered these dreadful songs due to my post...

Completely unintentional.

As for tarnishing the Floyd.

They've done in 3 albums what it took U2 at least 7 to achieve. Fix You live (saw it at Glasto) was properly 'large' its easily the best stadium track I have heard since Floyd. I cant easily explain what makes a stadium track mind you but whatever it is, its got it.
