Found this in work and we have no idea what it is and it's really bugging us! Please, but us out of our misery.

It's a toupee rug weaving tool.

it's a cat5 cable'r, or more speficically something for making the plugs...

It's a Krone tool.Used in the comms industry for terminating cables onto idc strips.It pushes the cable into the strip and cuts off the excess.The hooks are used to extract said cable when you've connected it to the wrong point .
