....programme on the beeb and noticed several motoring offences being committed on camera!!

Could those drivers be at risk of being clobbered by the Police using the video footage as evidence?

If only!

I thought the same about the Britan's worst driver program.

I was watching "Road Wars" a couple of nights back -
was absolutely dumbstruck after they pulled over
some scrote who *admitted* to them that he had
taken heroin in the past couple of hours, but they
just sent him on his way, allowing him to drive
off.

I'm not familiar with the effects of heroin, but
surely the guy could not be legally fit to drive?

No definately not, Heroin is a sedative that affects the central nervous system, clouding mental function and making you feel drowsy for several hours after taking it Sometimes you can appear to be asleep, but actually be awake, not to mention hallucinating and so forth. Not someone who I'd want to share the road with.

Still the police have more important things to do, like track down evil and dangerous speeders, nope comically unfunctional dope heads.
