Just coming off the M4 onto the A4 this morning, and an outrider stopped the traffic at the end of the slip road - past went Blair in his Jag with a further 5 outriders, only to join the queue up to the Chiswick roundabout about 5 cars in front of me.

They did manage to clear the queue surprisingly quickly though!

Nah give him a finger and the next thing you know he'll have your arm and a leg.

I was amazed that he came down the A4 instead of the M4 bus lane as in the past, but I guess there are more escape routes if anyone took a particularly strong dislike to him...

What a waste using a large engine car with only 2/3 people in it what about car sharing with his friend Ken, then they could pay half on the congestion tax. ct!

Obviously heard that Gordon Brown places his hitmen on the M4 then.

Is there anyone that likes him?

I suppose Ken is the only option because he wouldn't fit in a car with Fatty Prescott.

I am surprised you recognised him, I thought his car had smoked glass to prevent his wife's face from frightening small children and old ladies....

Tony Blair started jogging near his home in Chequers.
Every day, he'd jog past a hooker standing on the same street corner.
He learned to brace himself as he approached her for what was almost certain
to follow.
"Fifty pounds!" she'd shout from the kerb.
"No! Five pounds!" Tony would fire back.
This ritual between Tony and the hooker became a daily occurrence. He'd run
by and she'd yell, "Fifty pounds!" He'd yell back, "Five pounds!"
One day, Cherie decided that she wanted to accompany her husband on his jog.
As the jogging couple neared the working woman's street corner, Tony
realised she'd bark her £50 offer and Cherie would wonder what he'd really
been doing on all his past outings.
He figured he'd better have a darn good explanation for the 'Boss'.
As they jogged into the turn that would take them past the corner, Tony
became even more apprehensive than usual.
Sure enough, there was the hooker. Tony tried to avoid the prostitute's eyes
as she watched the pair jog past.
Then, from the pavement, the hooker yelled,
"See what you get for five quid?!"

Reminds me of the time I left work early once and got the train home from Fenchurch St. Loads of coppers everywhere, thought maybe a bomb scare of something and thought nothing more of it.
Pulled into Basildon and I woke up, looked out the window and Tony Blair is walking past and gave me a wave. Bit sureal really.
Then went back to sleep again.

Is his Jag similar to Bush's transport?

Armoured? Bullet proof windows? Anti-shred tyres? etc

It's not just a 'normal' Jag right?

As a daily commuter on the M4 to Chiswick this REALLY annoys me.

Who the hell is Tony Blair to slow down my commute??

However, once when Chiswick Roundabout reached the real meaning of gridlock, Chirac and his outriders had their uses...
