After learning about it on here, I've been using that GoPod software to de-restrict the volume on my iPod.

I updated the iPod software the other day and it seems to have stopped working :(

Anyone else experienced this? Are Apple being party poopers?

Hmmmm, that refers to an update from last year, I update it every time a new version is released and it's only just stopped working.

Might see if I can update it with the previous version.

I've had no problem using Gopod with my new 20gig Ipod colour. Is Gopod refusing to recognise the ipod?

No, it appears to do it's thing but the volume is still restricted.

Looks like you may have to do a full system restore back to an older update - or the original CD (make sure you don't mind losing what is on the ipod). I don't bother updating until I encounter a problem as I guess most of the "bug" fixes are just hack fixes.

Isn't there an option within Itunes that determines the file names? I'm at work at the moment so will have to go home to check.

Just in case anyone was losing any sleep over it, I've solved my problem.

Read the readme file that came with GoPod, it says you may have to reboot the iPod after unlocking it. Did it and it worked

Just heard on the news that iPod is having troubles. Customers have sent complaints about, the pod not working. I guess if you can´t get it fixed, take contact to the place where you bought it. Or is other problems occur.
