Zimfish is looking at dresses for BTaP, and this got me thinking...

Blokes either own one tux that they wear lots, or hire one as required.
Women are incapable of wearing a dress to more than one party.

So instead of paying loads for a dress you wear once, why aren't there hire shops where you can hire a dress for a party, saving you loads of cash. Same as wedding dress hire I guess.

Do I smell a business idea here...

My mate wanted to hire a dress and couldn't find anywhere at all outside of London, though this was a few years ago now.

I think the economy would probably collapse if your idea ever caught on. Is anyone as suprised as me that every time a woman buys a new dress/top/skirt/pair of trousers that there is never a single pair of shoes in her vast collection that will "go with it?"
