have to be in high wycombe tomorrow for 9.30 from tunbridge wells - should i go clockwise or anticlockwise round the m25??

clockwise looks shortest but are there still roadworks etc on the m25 that way?

any help app ta

Agreed....I work at Heathrow and it is always slow from the M3 to the M40.

Third vote for anti - the A3 to M4 section (forget the junction numbers) is always the busiest part.

Nah, clockwise and M3 Bracknell cut, saves a pound and anti you'll hit 2 sets of roadworks between M11 and M1

And if you actually have to cross Wycombe at rush hour, it'll take you just as long again as the half lap of the m25!

Can I suggest:

South side of the M25..... come off at J13 and go on A308 (Think it's this road)

You then come to A404M and Roberts your fathers brother!!

Going anticlockwise wont it be just as busy from the M1 to the M40 as the A3 to the M40 is going clockwise?

Clockwise = 74 miles
Anti = 101 miles
According to Autoroute.

I would be tempted to find a diversion around the heathrow r/works but still go Clockwise...
