If it is in the future, and you are just after a cheap flight, then try zoom airlines. They don't fly to New York, but they do go to toronto, and its justa wee hop across to JFK, or Syracuse.. My mum went over not long ago and it cost her 300 quid or so for a return flight...

Its cheaper the earlier you book though...

www.flyzoom.com/

Or you could do what i did and fly business class for freeee! Those airmiles realyl totted up! I've been over there, and back again for absolutely nowt.. Not a jot! KLM.. I love you!

Try American Airlines direct - they are currently offering a deal on Manchester or London to JFK for £246. There's plenty of restrictions on the fare but if it suits your needs - what a bargain!

You could try Continental from Bristol £312 including taxes. That's outbound on 27th Oct returning a week later.

I usually pay £260 inc tax for my London - New York flights direct through Continental. Although sometimes Expedia / Ebookers will have specials on (usually at least 4-6weeks before the flight for £250), although by booking directly with Continental, I get more Air Miles.

AA did the best deal for me when I went over a few weeks ago, but I got it a bit cheaper again by going through www.opodo.co.uk
