A watch that is. I keep getting her a batt powered one and they just don't last. So with xmas coming soon I wanted to get her a sporty type of kinetic or solor powered watch that will last.

looking at about £300 max so forget the rolex, tag etc..

Any ideas

cheers guys

On second thoughts, since it's you perhaps it's best not to know!

Dunno if you're interested in a nice phone as a present (I know its a watch you're after), but check these out:

Citizen EcoDrive - very nice watches, and under £300 RRP.

My brother has just taken on eco-drive in his shop - drop me a e-mail via my profile and I'll put you in contact if you're interested...

Had my Seiko kinetic 2 years and it's brilliant.

A pressie from my wife when we first got engaged but IIRC it was about £600-odd.

Some people on here would wear the springs out, I fear.

Solar powered watch? Do they exist?

How about one of those pens with a clock at the end of it? They were all the rage once.

Hate to be the barer of bad tidings but no matter how expensive the watch, she'll never be ready on time!
