More 4... new channel...

Just been looking at their preview show... Looks like its going to be an excellent channel. Be the usual good channel 4 movies, (Gosford park, Amelia, Downfall, etc), and some great programs... Looking forward to seeing it once its up and running

Ive only got Testical TV,if i had sky ide become sad Bd # 1 and never get out,when i watch TV i like the occasional surprises Channel 4 and 5 throw up "film wise" now and again although Channel 5's become a right slush channel with all these heart wrenching American films :sick:

I haven't got sky, but got a freeview box, (actually at my mums gaff while I'm over), and its all you need really...

yeah..... but if it was filled with heavy Glaswegian accents - most Brits would need subtitles !!

Ads during the day seem to suggest its an informative channel, with documentaries, and, and....

But...er....someone else told me that the late night ads make it out to be more of a porn channel, course I wouldn't know about all that stuff coz its after my bed time .

Entertainment such as films during the day and porn at night? Sounds like my kind of channel.

wonder how many times you can get 'porn' into a single post that makes sense...?

Most importantly, More 4 will be showing the Daily Show with Jon Stewart. It's incredibly funny and is in the unusual position of being a comedy show that is now regarded not only as a significant percentage of American's main source of news, but also the most persuasive critic of the Bush administration.

Essential viewing.
