Anyone off to participate or spectate?

The handbrake (an avid runner) is off to do it this weekend and I shall be tagging along with a view to enjoying what the city has to offer :smokin:.

We fly out Friday afternoon and come back Monday afternoon.

Other than the running bit in between is there anything we must see and do?

Is that something different from the usual 2 days spent fazed out in coffee shops & knocking shops?

The big museums are pretty good if you like that kind of thing.
The Sex Museum is a must see, simply because you'll only find something like that in Amsterdam. Not for the squeamish, mind.
Heineken museum is also worth a squiz, and you get free beer and beer glasses. Which can only be good.

I highly recommend that you visit the coffee shop with the name British Bulldog, and partake in a delicacy known as Northern Axis. Highly recommended.

Or so I've been told.....

If you do intend to get sparko on the ol' waccy baccy (and even if you're not), a visit to the Cannabis College is recommended too. Very interesting, the amount of stuff you can do with weed besides smoke it.
