Please help - Word bust!

grr. When I really need to write up some uni work, stupid Word wont open. Excel etc all open up fine, but Word wont. I've done a specific norton scan on it which has shown nothing. All I get is the little egg timer up for about 3 seconds then it dissapears.
It normally opens fine.

Help what can I do to make it open!

Have you looked to see if Word is still running as abackground process (Ctrl+shift+Esc then click the tab processes) if it is kill it.
You should then be able to open word.

Already checked that and its not there. Closed all the applications down with no effect.

If you're using Win XP, you could always try going back to a previous restore point.

Already have but could try a full shut down if that'll make a difference...

Bent copy of Word per chance?

HIS GO TO MY DOCS and open up an old word doc thats saved in their then just open a new file. My Xp does this all the time!

Well I closed it down fully and left it alone for a minute or two. Now it's all opened and Word seems fine...just wonder if another program is bust in it's place!!
