Finally after all my (very) hard work over the last 4yrs at Uni - which itself was a tough choice to make at 21- It has paid off!

Just sealed a deal to be head engineer and general manager of a new recording studio.
Really is a dream job for me and the terms are v.favourable.

Was just getting to the stage where it was all looking bad, my bank account has been hovering on the O/draft line for weeks now and career wise nout was happening.

I cannot describe the joy that I am feeling right now.

Now is it an Elise, Impreza RB5 or M3 coupe?

Any other recent graduates here just got or still looking for decent jobs?

Well done.

Where's the studio?

Blimey! Took me years after Uni to get to chief engineer at a studio. Had to do more (expensive) training courses and a fair while as tea boy / assistant engineer.

How the hell did you land that straight out of Uni???

Congrats though

Ok five Q? at time only please.

Studio is in Oban. west Coast of Scotland, nice setup great wee town.

Car choice comes down to this: was always planning on changing my car after Uni, i will not be upping the costs too much, and compared to my income it will be much less.
Always wanted the Elise but Scotland, esp west Coast is often wet or Snow covered and i will be moving recording gear regularly.
Subaru seemed great idea but high milage -500 a week- means the M3 may be a more practical idea.
Believe me i lust after something different every week, no lack of imagination (even seriously considered an R32 GTR for a while).

Drinks wise: 2 bottles of Champagne ready, but the GF is off to Spain on saturday (@4am guess who's doing the airport run!) so the party may have to wait for a couple of weeks.

Oban? I trust you've sampled the local liquid speciality? Most agreeable.

Couldn't agree more.

You used to work here? What, inside Pistonheads? Did you run the wheel?
