Right, now I've vented my spleen in the other thread about how much I LOATHE our pointless, inconsiderate excuse for office cleaners, time for an end of bulletin "on a lighter note" :-

I left work in an evil mood for a variety of reasons and had to go and worship at the altar of Tesco, as I had not a sausage in the cupboard. Well, not that I'd have a sausage, well, maybe a veggie one, anyway, I'm digressing. Did my shopping and was just putting a pizza in my basket when a little old lady tapped me on the arm and said "they've just put some of them in the reduced to clear counter dear". There was I, probably with a scowl on my face following a bad day, yet she took the time to help me out, even if it was just over a £2.49 pizza. Top marks to her, she has restored (some) of my faith in humanity. End result - £2.49 pizzas reduced to 62p, so I bought two, then discovered at the checkout they were buy one, get one free! Hurrah!

Little victories.

Boing! Time for bed.

Sometimes its the small things that make a difference........but looking at your profile and seeing you like to jump off high things tied to elastic, you really should have more faith!!!!

Had a slight incident whilst queuing up for petrol a few weeks back when the supposedly petrol strikes were on. The battery completely died and left me stranded at the very busy pumps.

I thought the ecu had gotten confused so I was in and out of the car, alarming and dis-alarming it to no avail.

I noticed the passenger in a brand new Range Rover, watching me. When his mate came out from paying, he got out of the car, came over to me and asked if I was ok. I explained that the battery has died, so they pushed Miss Daisy off the pumps.

They then got the jump leads and scrabbled round on the floor and got it started. They then followed me to work to make sure it didn’t stop again at the traffic lights.

They were the only ones to offer help, I did ask several people to help but they all just said they were too busy. What makes it even better was they were obviously businessmen, they had expensive suits on and were immaculate. Well they were until they met Miss Daisy. 

I wish I had got their business card to say thanks.
