Not that this topic will get many replies, but I'd just like to wish your team luck in the up coming World Cup (where ever you may be from). It will not unfortunatly be graced by the Green Army as tonight we were, deservedly, knocked out. What a motly lot. No passion. No pace. No idea really.

Robbie Keane missed 2 out of 3 balls, Clinton Morrison was so poor he probably IS Irish. John O'Shea was ok but didn't show much. Shay Given was incredible again and is the only player I feel sorry for having never got to the finals.

And, unfortunatly, that spells the end of Roy Keanes international carrer. Thankfully it should also mean the end to the twit we had for a manager. A Dublin gouger who managed O'Shea in under 18's. That being the sum total of his managerial prowess.

Bye bye World Cup. It's not the same when your team isn't playing. Just have to figure out who to support now ;).

Always nice to see the Republic there and it's a shame they didn't make it.

I never miss a game if one of the "home" teams are involved. Gives me someone else to shout for when England under-perform like they always do

I blame that Geller bloke. Why wasn't he off ruining Israel's chances instead?
