i had a good day, dont even get me started on trying to get a pac code for my mobile, must have spent at least 40 minutes on hold calling various different 02 customer service numbers.

and i dont even want to talk about how much the insurance cost me, all i will say is:

They can be a pain can't they?

On the other side of the coin, sometimes the way the software is set up, staff must do things in a certain order, and then occasionally have to ask for info twice so they can type it in a second time. As it's such mind-numbing work, concentration levels are hard to maintain. Not making excuses or anything - I try and make a note on a pad to avoid repetitive questions. WRT not picking up on Boxing Day, that's just laziness!

Spare a thought for call centre staff - they're often treated little better than trained monkeys! Oh yeah, and they have to deal with some totally backward customers each day...

edited to say: staff sometimes appear to be trained monkeys

i know about that, could have lost it on my many different calls to many different people at 02, but it thought, its not really their fault, so just chilled out, and stood on hold for another 7 mins before the guy told me the systems were down so i couldnt get my pac code today - that pissed me off, 40 mins for all of that!

going to ring tomorrow to get my puc code

any bets on whether i will actually get it?

If 26/12 falls on a Sunday, then boxing day is the following Monday.

(same as leap years aren't every four years...)
