Of course it bloody won't

Its a bit of Asa Baileys viral marketing for a forthcoming Ikea campaign

My mates wife is called Mercedes and he says if you slap her on her bumper, her airbags pop out.

Looking at the video the Airbag doesnt look fully inflated,it looks like they have faked it to me Funky robot, ive never been in an accident so this is only 'hearsay' but ive heard there is a tiny explosive charge or whatever that activates the bag(s) in a nano second and hold you in place fully inflated,i have even heard of people coming away with broken noses because of the force, like i say 'hearsay' from lots of people that have been involved in accidents and not my personal exp but i dare say someone on PH would of experienced an airbag going off.

it used to be the case apparently, that car thieves used to kick the bumpers of early mondeo's and the like to set the airbags off as this had the side effect of opening the central locking as a safety precaution. i believe that there are multiple sensors now to stop this happening

all of the above could be complete rubbish though, it is just what i heard

Airbags vary, in the US they are designed to faster and more 'agressive' because they have to take into account that the occupant may not be wearing a seatbelt. So thats why there was some lawsuits and claims a few years ago about people being killed or injured in the US due to airbags that have to detonate much more quickly than normal (any they are possibly more sensitive?) because there is no restraints to slow down the driver/passenger.

Its less of a problem in the rest of the world as we are required by law to wear seatbelts, so if you dont wear it its your fault your got injured.
