heard on the news last night that one of the contestants on the current show had given birth - they sent a team in and she had it behind a screen, was 7 months preggers when she went in. I suppose she is still in the show with said baby - this is really hitting the depths of voyeristic TV now, they must of run out of all the minority groups to put on and started on a whole new batch of society to show. Imagine being stuck in the house with a newborn!! Over to Dinkel for the latest (by the way I hate BB in any form, this just amazed me how low they can go)

Woman gives birth on camera on Big Brother

A woman has given birth in front of the cameras on the Dutch version of Big Brother.

Tanja - a contestant on the reality TV programme - gave birth to a healthy daughter.

She is hoping the footage will boost her chances of winning the programme's 400,000 euros prize.

The birth will be allowed to be shown on TV after talks between the producers and the Social Affairs Ministry.

"It will not show any explicit scenes," said Stephanie Dekker, from the Talpa network.

She said medical and educational TV programmes had shown more graphic footage of births.

The government has also set down guidelines for producers to abide by in televising the new baby.

This includes only showing the baby on air for a maximum of eight hours over the duration of the show, which ends on December 22.

She must also stay in a room where cameras are not allowed, and where her mother and grandparents may be with her in private.

Can't stand programs like this.
A load of egotistical morons sitting around swearing.
Wow! What great TV!
It just gets worse and worse. They seem to be in a race to produce and show the most disgraceful crap possible on TV nowadays as it will (sadly) get viewers.
God I hate modern TV.

I thought these bad taste programs reached their zenith with the Words' 'I'd do anything to be on TV' slot, how wrong I was!

I've said it before but the first time they give the Big Brother contestants weapons, or introduce something like anthrax or perhaps a secret serial killer, you won't be able to drag me away from the TV.

Until then, I'll just carry on praying for the slow and anguished death of all those who take part.
