I bought some DIHS a few years back after the supermarket had run out of my regular hot sauce (Ass Kicking Hot Sauce). I though, hrm ,can't be much different so tipped out a spoonful onto the back of my hand and licked it off. Faaakinelll...!!! I couldn't see for about 3 days...!!!

Yeah, a tingling sensation. I subsequently read on the bottle "Do not allow contact with skin" or something. WTF do they put in that stuff...? burning thermite...??? The bottle lasted about 2 years you had to use such a small amount. I remember, when you made pasta for two with a tomato sauce. one or two drops (say a quarter teaspoon) was all you needed for fairly fiery grub
