Forgot to post a thread about this. Excellent cartoon.

They've also got the first showing over here of Seth MacFarlane's new show, American Dad.

Should be a cracker

American Dad isn't very funny. I watched the first few episodes and lost interest. Family Guy however, rocks!

Love Family Guy, have to agree though that American Dad is but a pale imitation (still has it's moments though).

Anyone else seen Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story?

I got it on region 1 dvd last week, and if you love family guy you'll love the movie. It's basically a straight to dvd film but seems like three new episodes melded together (with a consecutive story line about Stewie searching for a man he believes is his true father) Anyway it's classic stuff, and well worth a tenner to a family guy fan.

right I'm off down the shops.

the start of family guy put me off when it was first around. My mate said I had to watch it but when the opening credits came on I thought jesus another happy family soppy Simponesque love fest and didnt bother watching how wrong I was.

Stewie rocks.

Same for me really, soon realised the error of my ways though.

Whilst it does have many obvious similarities with the simpsons and probably wouldn't be around if it wasn't for everyones favourite yellow family; It still stands up on it's own as hilarious and original TV.

and Stewie does indeed Rock, as does Brian!

ps. You'll have to order the dvd online as its not out in the UK yet.

Peter after being dragged along to an opera by Lois said:
Just don't forget our deal, Lois. I sit through this and later tonight I get anal................................................You hear me? No matter how neat I want the house you have to clean it!

When I heard this line (at about 6 in the evening the last time Family Guy was on TV) I couldn't believe I'd just heard it at first and then spent about the next 10 minutes crying with laughter!

Family Guy is indeed a classic programme!

Does anyone remember the 1970s animation series "Wait 'til Your Father Gets Home" or the even more obscure "My World and Welcome To It".

Both these series deserve a re-look as lots of elements of the "confused dad" syndrome seen in the current generation of cartoon series like "The Simpsons", "King of the Hill" and possibly "Family Guy" (which I haven't seen yet) were contained in those programmes over 30 years ago.
