Currently one months rent would more than cover the cost of my 205 with insurance and a full tank of fuel.
Back when I was a grown up, the B3 was probably 25k, the A6 20k with a 300k house. So, say 7:1

3 bed semi - £114K
1995 P10 eGT in black - £750

I make that 152:1!

Analysis: I'm a cheap b*stard.

I love my old MR2....... but I guess in all fairness I'm running at about 100:1

Right now I have no intention of upgrading, unless I stick a turbo engine in it.

I've never been good at reducing ratios....
Seeing as I'm living at home;

Parents house:my car = almost excatly 100:1

The house I've just bought (move in January) 11:1

Erm ... 700:1.

(The car was quite cheap!)

Oli.

ETA: Are we counting all houses owned? If so, mine will change a bit.
