I can imagine his captors saying - "sorry mate we didn't know you worked for The Guardian, you were on our side all along. We'll have a pint with you at the local".

You do realise that Allah is just the arabic word for god, they only use allah as a way of differentiating between the christian 'god' that is more commonly thought of in the west. Of course they ignore that in fact both the christian 'god' and the muslim 'allah' are one and the same (assuming they exist at all) but of course it wouldn't be in their interest to emphasize that.

they dont ignore that fact at all.

Jesus is considered one of the holiest prophets in Islam.

Might suggest picking up a book occasionally.
