You have to realise that to the London-centric, anything north of Watford is considered the north...

Would be interesting to cross reference this survey with the sillines quotient. Ie the number of speed humps divided by the number of road miles in a given town. Whats the betting, the fewer the humps the more polite the drivers.

No - anything north of the Watford Gap - which is near Rugby - is considered Northern.

Watford (where I was born) is inside the M25, FFS...
