DIY 4 hour hollywood halloween mask/makeup

I remember reading a long step by step article (with photos) depicting a girl who bought a halloween mask kit made from silicone IIRC. the kit required you to spend a few hours following the instructions blending in the mask with makeup in 10 stages or so. The result was nothing short of spectacular. Anyone ever tried anything similar, or know where I might be able to buy on of these kits? :)

My mam is a theatrical make-up artist and she gets most of her stuff from fancy dress shops or similar or direct from the supplier.

Try Grimas its proper theatrical stuff, they do booklets to go with their kits should be able to help.

I should have my latex mask, teeth, makeup (and ears ) in 2-3 days thanks to an email and super-special delivery which is not mentioned on the site. Sorted!



Edited to add... got 2 parties to go to, one on saturday night. Apparently the latex is very comfortable and its not a problem to wear them for 12 hours or so.

Life is definitely too short not to wear the mask all day saturday whilst doing the usual shopping etc, and I will be back with pics!!

The trick with makeup is probably to go slowly, having thought it out thoroughly first. Should be fun though, however well it turns out

I took on a new professional make up artist client recently, gave her a fantastic deal with loads of free stuff, and in return she is 'going to spend 3 hours on my face' on saturday morning
