to be honest dont see that much wrong with this she has to be a big kdnap / murder target and even though u may hate them they are the prime minister and wife so should be afforded some protection. if she was the yank one she'd prob have a 50 car motorcade. and its only an omega if it was a decent car id be more miffed!

No other Prime Ministers spouse has had it. Denis Thatcher used to get the bus, and that's when the IRA threat was at its height!

I don't think it comes down to value but rather perceived risk. She has a higher chance of being targetted than John Smith on his way to the office, the reason why should be obvious.
