Has anybody seen this?

I'm thinking that it'll be on the agenda for me next year! :yikes:

I could imagine the creaking and groaning that would do in high winds. I think my fear of human-engineering might get the better of me on that one

Remind me to stay away from that place. Not a snowmans chance in hell would I be walking on that thing.

Scary enough just standing on the top as it is just now.

Do you want to borrow my book "Death in the Grand Canyon". Lots of stories of people falling over the edge (mainly due to sheer stupidity).

My sense of adventure is getting out of bed in the mornings.

Its not my fault I'm scared of heights, blame the uncle who thought it would be funny to put a 3yr old child on top of a fridge freezer.

I would do it, but it would be pretty damn unnerving. Like standing on one of the glass panels in the observatory on Mont Blanc, or indeed just looking over the edge when stood up there.

Yeah, but you're insured surely, they'd be fine.

It'll take a minute to get used to but then you'll love it. I was on the glass floor on the CN Tower the other week and it was bloody weird. The funniest thing was standing back and watching people approaching it - there was a lot of leaning back and tapping the glass with feet going on. And then grannies looking horrified as kids divebombed the glass

Last time I was up Blackpool Tower some 18 stone lummox was jumping up and down in that exagerated trying-to-crack-the-ice way on the glass panel.

Very scary.

Coz I just had to walk on it (next) to prove the hugeness of my cohones to the massed hordes.

Very difficult to look manly when tiptoeing onto a big sheet of glass

No, but I was standing inside the Stratosphere watching them. They look absolutely terrifying. Really, horrifically so.

Ah yes, the accidental 'Good Lord, here I am in my kilt walking across a glass floor. What are the chances of that?' routine.
