with this guy I think:

http://feedback.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&userid=rob.norton&items=-1&item=4784767036&de=off

Check out his latest transactions and see if you come up with the same suspicions as me

Then check out his items for sale

All of the items he has recently sold have been bought by little boy blue - who seems to pop up and bump up the bidding (he doesn't win all of the auctions)but the ones that he does the items are back up for sale

But it's an "auction" .Set yourself a price and if it goes above that then don't bid any more? Simple really.

Yes but if it wasn't for him/his mate bidding up his own auction you'd end up actually paying less. Isn't this fraud?
I have had this happen to me before and in each case I've cancelled my bids and sent an irate mail to the seller explaining my reasons.

You would get it at a lower price if little boy blue didnt keep bumping up the price - If he gets it wrong and bumps the price to more than other bidders are prepared to pay and little boy blue 'wins' the seller puts the items back up for sale

On the bright side, it has cost him the listing fees and final value fees each time his mate 'wins' a bid.

It's called 'shill bidding' and is against eBay rules.

If you're going to get your mates to help things along, use several, and not so often

But you've obviously paid an acceptable price (to you) for the item.I don't agree with the practice, but if you don't think the item is worth more then don't bid more.
