I don't think it says that at all. They have recognised a gap in the market that they could use to boost their numbers and save their walk. If only Asian people went to Asian resteraunts that were threatened with closure, you'd be sure that they'd try and attract non-Asians to their establishment, and try and survive.

With the River Severn not too far away, you get to hear of people who fall in for various reasons and some don't get out alive. There's a charity that tries to rescue such folk, if I heard today's news right it can't get a lottery grant because it's unable to describe the racial or social characteristics of the group of people it will save as a result of the grant.
Nope..I remember this on local radio at the time. The reason they were closing is that it is just attracting white middle aged people. They want to use the money saved to attract minorities, disabled, and children... Well..as far as I am aware, there is nothing stopping disabled, children or minorities from using the services, so why stop?

You know, my local mosque doesn't appear to be attracting its fair share of White folk.
Come to mention it my local church is not doing a great job of attracting Muslims.
I have noticed that the majority of TVR's seem to be driven by white people, they should be banned too if 'foreigners' don't like them as much as we do.

BUT I have seen a brave guy in his wheelchair struggling up a mountain........
I'm quite happy to go on a walk on the fells without any "disadvantaged" eternally whingeing about something all day....

The Lake District National Park Authority admitted that they got it wrong. Apparently Asian and black people have been visiting The National Park and going on the free guided walks along with the middle-aged, middle-class, white people.
They were too far too arrogant to ask their own rangers and just assumed that people from different ethnic backgrounds were not attracted to the area.
Influenced by self-appointed busybodies such as these (www.cnp.org.uk/index.htm ) the same idiots that are depriving the region of thousands of pounds by imposing a silly 10-mph speed limit on Windermere.

recently in Snowdownia there was a big "initiative" - driven by some local d1ckhead Quango to ban ALL parking in Snowdownia ...... because parking along the A5 was deemed to be a "PROBLEM" (It isn't ) - peoples freedom to park and go off walking didn't fit thier left-wing Utopian vision of society.
They proposed a completely unworkable park-and -ride scheme , but would still allow all the HGV's to trundle through the area.
After all the local businesses , pubs , climbing clubs , walking organisations , National sports organisations etc. etc. protested heavily ....... they have backed off ( for now )
I'm sure the initiative will be tried again - it serves no purpose whatsoever apart from justifying the continued existence of State funded busy-bodies.

What are they supposed to do? Stand there with a lesbian asylum seeker from Zambia throwing her in and rescuing her so they can guarantee numbers?
