IIRC one of the options discussed at the time for a Jewish homeland was somewhere in the mid -west of the USA, that'd do me.

I think what alot of people don't appreciate is that a good number of Muslim fundamentalists view Israel as a modern day equivalent of the Crusader kingdom following the Crusades; it lasted around 100 years but fell eventually. Israel hasn't even been going 60 yet so as far as they're concerned its existence is still a temporary matter.

Well as California is dominated by powerful Jewish media barons perhaps they could create the "new" Israel in Southern California? All they would have to do is clear out all the mexicans or perhaps they could create the "Taco Strip" and then they could fit the mexicans rather than the palestinians.

The British actually offered The Palestinians their own country as well, but they said they wanted it all or nothing, and thats what they got. The brits then gave it over to the UN to sort it out. The Arab nations have tried to pulverise Israel before but got their collective butts whipped. I say Israel has earned it's place, and the Arabs have got a nasty lesson in being tolerant. They didn't want to share and now they end up with less, should have taken the offer when you had the chance morons.

As far as Iran is concerned it's just a matter of time now before they get themselves involved in a war, I mean north korea can shoot off its mouth because it actually has a nuke or two lying around which will make people think twice before invading, Iran hasn't yet got any and if they had any brains at all they would keep their mouths shut until they did. Now they will drag us all into another war, and then china will probably join in since they have been making links with Iran for oil. It'll all be a big fat bloody mess just because one brainless idiotic twit can't keep his big fat mouth shut.
