Westwood is such as ck

I remember him on Jo Whiley's channel 4 show talking about the ghetos and the kids on the street

He got really pissed off when she kept bringing up the fact that his dad was a vicar

When I saw the thread title "westwood", I thought perhaps it was a word association game.

I thought: "Twat".

Its the way he refers to records as Joints.

Perhaps its one of those terms that you can apply to anything.

A bit like

Which is remarkably applicable to Westwood.

book is what comes up in predictive text if you try to type in the word "cool", ergo book=cool, i learnt that little nugget of info off Stephen Fry BTW

He's hilarious. I heard him interview 50 Cent (which is about 30 pence) once - he spent a good five minutes bemoaning gun culture and violence in rap music, how he wished there could be less hate and more love in rap music, then played a load of shotgun blast samples over the top of 30p's "hot new joint"! What a wazzock!

When you type in 'cool' in your phone the predictive text displays 'book' first. You then need to scroll through the choices to get 'cool'.

Sommat like that anyway.

Stephen fry explained this on Jonathan Ross... Apparently Book is the first word that comes up when you try to type in 'cool' using predictive text on a mobile phone. He made some good points on the programme too, about how some fuddy duddies critisise modern use of language. He even got Rossy when he said "do you not agree that melding words is bad, blah, blah".. Ross said yes, until fry pointed out that meld itself was a word derived from 2 words mixing. He, quite elequently pointed out that English is both slovenly, and noble, and that the progression of language through the times makes English what it is today. Although he isn't a fan of text speak, so to speak, he has no problem with new words like 'Chillax' that are another point of a languages evolution.
