The two Davids

[C C]

I’m a little surprised not to see any comment on the two Davids big debate on Question time.

For what it’s worth. I’d give that round to Davis on points.

They were very polite to each other. It never really got heated... But Davis came out on top I think.

ER..t'was the 3 Davids show and a free "Conservative Party Broadcast" on behalf of the BBC...!

Can you imagine a similar 1 hr long programme ever being broadcast for the leadership of the Labour Party?.....

Grrrr! Damned BBC bias Ag'in!!.....

I view it more as redressing the balance..

..or is it perhaps that the BBC can sense the winning side in the next election and are cosying up?

Quite right Minimax. And for the record, the leadership contest in the Labour party when Blair took over got mucho mucho
coverage. - As did the death of John Smith (when precipitated it) . Smith was a nice bloke, but nowt special. Yet
the BBC practically gave him a state funeral!
