Does anyone know of a holiday company that does not allow children? I'm sure there are some but haven't had much luck finding anything decent or affordable.

Cheers!

A couple we know go regularly to Sandals resorts, and rate them. They're all fully inclusive, so they're good value we've been told. We've never, not least of all because we've got four kids.

Cruise on the QE2. Average age is 55. Kids are kept in cages somewhere below decks.

We had the misfortune of going to Sandals in Cuba a couple of years back. Cuba was lovely but everything that could go wrong with a holiday did, also there were staff kids everywhere and families at other hotels were using all the facilities. We settled out of court. I had heard many great things about Sandals and I feel cheated and still very disappointed.

That's what they said about a holiday on the Titanic.

Thomson Gold hotels are child free. Check though that the hotel is excluvsive to Thomsons or else other travel agents book kids in.

Not strictly child free, but the Maldives are guarenteed child-free-ish

Only cos most families can't afford to go there!

Seriously, thanks guys, I'll have a look at some of the suggestions.

mxdi - rather stupidly, I did a search on adults-only holidays.... but yeah, I saw that Watchdog report too.

Well, if you want cheap and cheerful, some Eurocamp sites across Europe are makred as non-family sites and a bit further up the scale Exodus Travel (www.exodus.co.uk) do some interesting trips that are for non children groups.
