Hello All.

Well, my better half has lost control of her senses and agreed to marry me. To minimize the chances of her changing her mind and buggering off with someone who actually deserves her, we have set a date of the 28th of January.
I was hoping some of the PH Brethren would be able to point me in the direction of some useful people.

Does anyone have recommendations for a good photographer, a band, and cheauffered supercar hire? (Want two middie nuttermobiles for myself and the best man, and something pleasant for her - anyone know of a cheauffered Lambo Espada out there?)

The wedding will be in the Basingstoke/Reading area, btw.

Not asking much, am I ?

regards,

Richard

Many Congratulations! Am tying the knot myself this coming May, so am familiar with what you will have to endure. However, I must admit, I left most of that to my bride to be, as it's really "her" day and I couldn't be trusted to choose the correct colours, decorations, etc... Fine by me, as all I need to do is just show up

When you say January, do you mean 2006 or 2007? The reason I ask is I have found out that photographers, cake makers, etc... can be booked up well in advance. We started looking for photogs back in August and we struggled to find someone available for May next year. So, if you're looking to walk down the aisle in 2 months time, you might have probs finding decent suppliers, etc...

The Espace offer is very generous, and will save us nearly 40 quid on skip hire. Can I send you directions?

Thanks all for the congrats, and the suggestions. Keep 'em coming - I'm working 4 days a week in the Netherlands untill the weekend of the wedding, so am kinda up against it, organizationally speaking!

Firstly congrats!

Now onto business!!

I can get you a good deal on a Jag E-Type and several other classics.....

If your interested in that kind of car, let me know. They're all chauffer driven and we used them for my sisters wedding. They were fantastic as the drivers were dressed really well and sorted out the cars so they looked great. (Also a bottle of bubbly was included too).

The prices are exceptional when compared to others. We had three cars for almost the price of one.

Email me if you want the details.

Cheers,

Nick

Congratulations mate! did you go for the Play Your Cards Right pastiche?

Mail me and I'll tell you (or Jane will) all the info we used. We got married around Surry way so not a million miles from you (but probably far enough).
