Somebody famous (not sufficiently famous to remember!) said they'd never employ someone who'd never made a mistake.

Im sure her creditors dont feel the same way.

She set up her new business from her own personal fortune plus backing from other Dragons - her business went tits up causing lots of smaller companies great hardship - she shouldnt have a personal fortune any more!!

I've seen it happen so many times & been on the receiving end more than once only to see the persons company open again registederd in the wifes cats name having bought the assets for a pittance from the receiver - its just soooo wrong.

the thing is to my mind, the people standing in front of the "Dragons" have probably already failed to get backing from their banks etc. That's maybe not a bad thing in that some banks would probably be dubious in offering the cash (and of course the expertise of the "dragons", but it does put the people in a pickle where the negiotating is concerned!

Im glad that other bloke is not on it any more. And as for her Hmmm. There was a Tonight with Trevor McDonald program showing people that were owed thousands.

hmm, I have a sneaking feeling something is afoot here - Dragon's Den was filmed in March so how on earth doesn't the website have more quality about it? Surely the most obvious of business plans see's the free marketing from the show and the number of people who log on to the website!

I thought it was quite amusing watching her squirm after the other two chaps had explained their credentials to the wifi guy notice she didn't say anything about her past companies

It was filming over the summer, and they don't get aired in the order they were presented. BTW, does anyone have that link?

ah, that website is different to the one I saw. But they definetly said March and 12 months! If you look at the news from April the first item is of the 3&6 month tarrif's - something that was mentioned in the show...

I think the best she could muster is "I have extensive marketing experience"....

That scene was manufactured. The series was filmed before the announcement of Red Letter Days going belly up went public. They just reshot the intro of her and the voiceover on the openning sequence. Hence the reason why she's still one of the Dragon's. Otherwise she would've been dumped a long time ago...

Maybe so but at least she has had a go which is more than can be said for a lot of people laughing at her today.
I don't doubt for one second she will be doing a lot better than most of those people in the not too distant future.
