Bed sheets?

Having just stuck mine in the washing machine, i wondered how often you lot washed them? I've heard some people mention they stick them in weekly, but being a bloke I can never be arsed, so I tend to put them in when I can no longer smell the softner and they get a bit musty

I reckon that's probably once a month

And filthy scounderels or clean freaks out there?

I'm a bit against the grain so far as blokeiness goes - I've been known to change my sheets twice a week and wash most of my clothes after only a couple of wearings.

I just reckon that, although you don't notice because you're used to it, the smell is detected by others and isn't necessarily welcome no matter if you bathe in deoderant or something. There are some people who absolutely reek and you can tell by the way they interact that they haven't the slightest inkling at all.

You must be joking, don't you find it a massive pain in the arse running around tucking the sheet under the matress? Not to mention the flippin duvet! Then when you've finally wrestled that into submission you turn around thinking you're done and theres umpteen pillows staring back at you.

As you may have gathered I'm a twice a month max kind of guy

I did live with someone once though who literally NEVER did it... his sheets were all brown and scummy coloured where he ley on them, ditto the pillows. He never seemed to get the hint though, even when I used to go in, open his windows and seal the door like and airlock

Isn't that what women do while you're shagging the arse off them?

Don’t bother tucking, just throw them over square on to the bed and then another with a duvet over it. Sleep between the sheets (except in mid summer when the duvet goes for comfort reasons). This way you don’t have to strip the duvet covers off which is really a bd of a job (Why cant some one just design a better one? Could make millions!). Pillows are easy, 20 second job at most.

That brown sheet thing is absolutely vile! You would never be able to bring ladies home and expect them to touch it with a barge pole much less tuck in with you. Do any of the PH ladies have stories about guys they met like this? I’m hoping it’s an isolated incident.

Fitted sheets are great, no ironing and no tucking in.

My bed once a fortnight, the kids probably more often, what with nose bleeds and pen marks from drawing in bed when they should be sleeping, they don't last too long.

'Sleep-designing' - that's a new one.

They don't tell you of dreams they've had where they were Giorgetto Giugiaro do they?

Every other week normally. I know people who change theirs 2/3 times a week, which is fine but must cost quite alot in laundry (in at uni and the washers/driers arent cheap).

Only a couple!?! Is that the norm for blokes? I wear clean clothes every day!
