I hope not, i nearly wrote off my brand new 1-series last year when it snowed! ill never attempt an ice covered humpback bridge again.
My dear mother has forsaken all RWDs after a winter spent in Switzerland with a BMW, in a house with a comically steep driveway. Thank god for Audi quattros.

The good old forecasters rarely get it right and in any case it'll all be gone the following day!
It never stays cold for long in Blighty thanks to the the Gulf stream, otherwise we'd have sub-zero temps all winter. Doesn't feel all that cold to me today, although perhaps it is as the frozen fog hasn't lifted yet.

It might of been helpfull to me if i knew how to deactivate the traction control at the time. Foot to the floor in 1st gear, still sliding backwards!

O/T funny how the White Xmas predictor gives every where a 50% chance.
Doesn't matter what the percentage is really, thats the problem with statistical predictions, providing something isn't impossible, it can happen at any time. Explains why weather men (or women) always make mistakes

Coming down the M6 at about 1am on saturday, thick fog and sub-zero temperatures. my single working washer jet was working overtime and when I got home the leading edges of the bonnet, bumper, grill, etc. had about 1/4 inch of ice on them! the leccy aeirel was frozen up like a bit iceicle
