Saw this yesterday... Was pretty good. It was a bit better than I anticipated, and it certainly didn't go over the top, and completely unbelievable, as I was expecting it to be. The baddies were a bit obvious, and it certainly wasn't a brain stretcher, but enjoyable all the same

Saw II is crud... No other explanation... utter poo... I have wiped nicer things off my shoe....

serenity was ok. Considering it's a TV show spin-off I was expecting utter drivel, that had lots of in-jokes from the series, (which I have not seen), but I enjoyed it. It was funny, and a decent sci-fi zombie type thing in one... Might make me have a gander at the series now! (Plus the chick with the canadian/Native american accent had a luverly voice!)

I saw Kiss Kiss Bang Bang on Sunday, which much to my surprise was really good.

There were a few moments when the plot lost me but it was easy to catch up again. The banter between the three main characters was some of the best I've ever heard, credit is due to the Shane Black.

I loved the tongue in cheek humour & the russian roulette scene had the entire room in stitches.

Thirded! Not bad, if you're in the right mood. (Not a classic, by any stretch of the imagination, though)

Looking forward to "The Exorcism of Emily Rose" - looks good from the trailer!

I wish I had my own screening room, £6 a ticket and £3 a coke is taking the pee a bit.

Been looking forward to Syriana for a while now, when I first saw the trailer I didn't recognise Clooney.

I thought Serenity was excellent, bought the series afterwards (was on offer at HMV at the time) and became massively hooked.

Why oh why arent they making a second series...

Its very "western meets sci-fi" in setting. Unusual but very compelling although a bit slow in starting (the first mulitpart episode dragged a little but stick with it!).

The only downside is that it seems that Wheedon wanted to make an "adventures of Han Solo" series, you could happily substitute the characters into a star wars setting with practically zero re-writing (ie smuggler / pirate main character who's really a good guy at heart, even wears the same cavalry trousers as solo, fighting an evil empire (ok more hiding from, but same difference) etc etc.

Get the Firefly series 1 (well, the only series) boxed set, its worth it.
