Looks like I am no longer going to be circling the plug hole at work but they are going to give me some cash and tell me to sling me hook.

Rather than going and doing another corporate whatever role wondered what the world of franchises is like.

Is there anywhere that has lists of franchises that you can buy?

Thought about starting my own company but lacking ideas of things I want to do so this might be a better way of doing it.

Any ideas very gratefully recieved.

Contact the major banks for their information packs- I think Nat West also do a free seminar.

There are major exhibitions held in e.g. Manchester + places like the Wembley Conf. Centre which you would find interesting.

Carry out due diligence by speaking to as many of those operating the franchises you are interested in before you sign up and get a suitably qualified lawyer to check the documentation before you do want to become legally bound by anything.

A Macdonalds is the only one that was attractive when I looked a while back.

£350K in, ROI in 10 months on the right site.

Bonza.

Set up a Krispy Kreme franchise in Bournemouth and I'd be VERY happy
