Luton van hire for one day Hertz price, £196

Local big company ( kendalls van hire ) £56 ins inc

Local company ( rent and banger, wicked name ) £35

I went with Kendalls as it is for work and I want the van to look half decent, but jesus christ ! £193 what for ? daylight robbery.

When I rang them to ask why it was so much ( Nearly 4 times every one else ) they said that it was good value for money ( how ? ) and that they charge you for 2 days if you pick up on a fri/staurday, again why ? if smaller companies are able to offer better service: drop of anytime before 8am next day and they charge one day hire, half day hire available, and they will pick up and drop off for a small charge, parking.
