Left the house this morning, getting a lift to the station from the missus.
Walked to her car and some fecking pathetic low life scum had seen fit to throw an egg at the windscreen. It's a right pain to get dried egg off...

What possesses people to do such a thing?

I had this the other day in Bath, came out from hotel in the morning to find half solid egg down the screen, wing and bonnet.

I assumed it was just kids arsing about and the car got caught in the cross fire. Is egging cars a new craze or summut?

A couple of years ago my missus nearly crashed when she was driving through a village and some little gnag of scrotes threw an egg at her car. It hit the side of the windscreen and immediately she could barely see. If it had been in the middle she would have crashed - no doubt.

The albumen also damaged paintwork and was a devil of a job to remove.

This is actually a very dangerous act of vandelism and criminal damage that seems to be increasing - but is not given much priority.
