Who makes good soup these days?

Heinz tinned stuff is OK but there is better stuff out there I'm sure.

Covent Garden Soup Company make great fresh soup... in little paper carton things.
But you can't go wrong with Knorrrrrr's Chick Noodle soup... it's dried erm... stuff... in a green sachet that you mix with hot water... it's great.

Aways make my own

Pumpkin soup for the children at halloween was a great success, don't think any of my girls friends had ever had soup that wasn't out of a tin before.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh!

Covent Garden have been recommended to me before.

Dried "stuff" sounds good too.

I went into a little Spa store in Richmond the other day. They sell the strangest things in there, like Chicken Tikka bites (made from 100% real chicken, apparently) and something that looked like testicles in congealed semen. Actually, it was probably olives...

and cheap....chicken stock,onion,broccoli,cauliflower.........cook and liquidise...then add grated cheddar just before serving.....how convenient and cheap do u want?

Had that after the traditional New Years Day dip in the North Sea last year...certainly got the circulation back to the areas that needed the circulation back

Seconded.

Look you lazy little fecker all you need is to chop up some veg, a stock cube and some cream, pint of water and a hand blender, it takes about 10min to make an absolutely delicious fresh soup that's far far tastier than any you can buy and nutritionally far better for you.

Tssskk youth of today

make your own.

Did Carrot/Coriander/Orange last weekend.
Ist easy!

Get some veggie stock (a Knorr cube will do in emergency)

Saute carrot, coriander, onion und orange mush after juicing in olove oil - add the stock und orange juice und simmer till veggies are soft. Liquidise fold in some creme fraiche und either cointreau or cognac - bring to pinping hot und server with dollop of creme fraich und chopped coriander

Easy to make your own, you can make it very simple if you like, just add whatever veg you have in your fridge with stock cube and water, bit of salt and pepper and maybe thicken with cornflour. Easy.

Alternatively Covent Garden Soups are good.
