Don't you just love it when you find an album that's completely slipped from your memory?

Thanks to allofmp3.com I've just downloaded "nude" by Suede... and very good it is too

I 're-discovered' Massive Attacks' Blue Lines, a truly classic and timeless album full of pure gems.

(I've found that most music which doesn't have the Stock, Aitken and Waterman vibes running through them like the letters in a bad stick of rock are actually quite good!)

I listened to The best of Gary Glitter today.

All the old Glam Rock classics.

Had completely forgotten about "The The"...Cheers David have also re-discovered Simple Minds, Level 42 and Tears for Fears...

People say I have weird musical tastes for a 24yr old... I blame that on having two brothers 13, and 14 years older than me.

<Edited to say> I still can't decide whether early Kate Bush is catchy-lunacy or pure genius...

Would love to dust off a few old favourites from time to time, unfortunately although I'm too old to be 'cool' the same can't be said for my cd collection and everytime my sister-in-law dissappears back off to uni, so do half my bloody CDs!
I blame the guitar playing hippy she's shacked up with! Still, she's getting evicted later this month, that'll learn 'er!

In that case, see if you can find two albums called Electric and Electric Level 2 - both chock full of 80s electronica classics from Frankie GTH to Ultravox via Falco

The answer is genius and always will be she has recently or is very soon to release her 1st Album in 12 years, cannot wait.

Recently rediscovered The Beastie Boys 'Licence to Ill'. Don't tell me todays white rappers are groundbreaking this was released in 1986!!

I bought Matt Johnson's ex-girlfriend's record collection from her about eleven years ago - loads of The The rarities and all unplayed.

The best album has to be Soul Mining, the singles are interesting as nearly all of them are different to the album versions. The best format to get it on was tape if you can find it as it got a complete bonus album on the b side which is excellent!
