Hi All,

Can't see that this has been posted before, he's already had 80,000 people have a chuckle at what he's done so a few more shouldn't matter!

It must be dork day..

I was at the grocery store one time, a few years back and a lady driving a brand new 3 series backed out of her parking spot. Not far enough though! when she cut her wheel to drive off she couldn't see the curbing in her path and high centered the oil pan on the curbing. I pulled her off with my truck and took a look underneath knowing what I was going to find, big gash in the sump spewing oil. I took me the next 1/2 hour to convince her that she couldn't drive the car and needed to call a tow truck.

A sock in the head is a new one on me, the bad thing about common sense is that it's rarely common these days..

It is posted in the BMW forum as I put before.
Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear....I suggest flushing it through with water. Oh and incase it gets stuck try adding sand.

Wouldn't it be better to add laundry detergent and bleach so that the sock comes out white?..

That’s good thinking, quarter of an hour at 3000rpm should solve all of his problems, because if he was wondering if he needed a re-build before he can be sure he does after that.

I'd hate to break it to him, but I don't think he's ever going to get the sock back in one piece, certainly it will never be the same again.
