UPDATED!!!!

Hello folks,

I was wondering if the PH collective could help me at all. My brother in law's garage was broken into by some chav scum and they stole his mountain bike. Luckily they left everything else however they made extensive damage to the side door.

Details of the bike:

- Scott Elite Comp hardtail frame (Blue with white Scott decals)
- Fox Talas RLC forks
- Hope mini front and rear hydraulic brakes with goodridge hoses
- Hope brake levers
- Azonic 2" riser handlebar with blue X-Lite Disco bar ends
- LX front and rear mech and shifters
- Clip-on pedals
- Endura anti-scratchcover to protect the chain from the frame.

Photos!

The bike was stolen from the Three-Mile Cross area in Reading so please let me know if you see a bike of this description. If you believe it is the right bike, please take a description of the person and location where you sighted the bike and let me know asap!

Thanks in advance and i'll post a photo asap!

Cheers,

BB

P.S. Could this post be made a sticky for a couple of weeks or so please!!!! It's quite an expensive bike so it would be nice to get it back.....Thanks!

And just next to a police station as well

It'll either be over the M4 in Whitley Wood or some gypsies who seem to like that area will have it! I'll keep my eyes peeled once I'm back in Reading on Thursday

...and funnily enough my bike got nicked from outside Reading train station last week, the bastards even nicked the lock!

Sometimes I feel that this place really should be neutralised in some way (after all the PHr's have got out -obviously!)

I hate Reading!

I live in Reading and am a mountain biker, will keep my eyes peeled for you. Mind you, it'll have been de-stickered and painted in primer by now.

OUCH! Sorry to hear that buddy. Someone had a go at my S-works a few months ago too. I got away with it though. Best of luck getting it back.

Strange this bike theft thing.
My garage was broken into, and the idiots actually climbed over my 993 and proceeded to take the front forks off a piece of rubbish gt with a cheapie RST.
They missed the CUBE mountainbike with the works hanging on one wall and and a colnago road bike on the other wall.
Total damage about £80 for the forks, and £800 for the boot scratches where thet climbed over the car.

As the police said "budding masterminds"
