Magazine Subscriptions

I have taken out a couple of subscriptions to luvverly girly magazines to keep me quiet and occupied (and to keep me in touch with my feminine side whilst I'm surround by all these men) for the duration of this engineering malarky.

So I waited for delivery...and waited...and three weeks later rang up and asked where the hell it was (this was August), got another issue sent out. Its now December, I'm still waiting for my free gift (was much looking forward to that - love getting post) and this months issue has arrived sans its freeby too. I dont understand this - not only am I paying full cover price - but I've not got any of the advantages that are advertised for taking out said subscription.

What on earth am I supposed to do? I've called them many times and just got generic responses and "oh we'll get on to it" but they never do...What now?

I'd like to get one to stop. Started one for my daughter over 12 months ago, even though I've had two changes of debit card number, they still keep coming.

don't think you'd want it, its 'bang on the door', although some of the make up she's got with it, is quite nice.

Yeah pretty much I s'pose. Did Mech Eng myself (just graduated) so touched on materials from time to time.

If you paid by credit card, get onto the credit card company and charge back the subscription. There are plenty of companies who will deal with subscriptions who might actually deliver.
