Need a cheap laptop -help please

Need a laptop, needs to be reasonable, nothing mega as only a back up from home - any tips?

Needs to be Wi-fi too

I've got an Advent one that was only supposed to be a stop gap but I've been so impressed by its efforts (think it wast about £500) that I've decided to keep it. Not a bad little pooter.

You could buy a resonable second hand jobby for 300 quid. Won't blow your socks off mind. Add a wireless card for about 20quid. How cheap is cheap incidentally?

I've just bought a Dell laptop for £399 with WiFi card included.

There's also the PC World £350 Advent but you'd need to buy a WiFi dongle thing, so would work out about the same.

Have a look at novatech.co.uk, i got one from there a while back for £400 that actually had a bit of poke. Just added a wifi card.
