At what level do you lose definition. At 500ft it's clear, at 250ft it's ok if you know what is there (eg I can identify my car because of the colour but no other way) at less than that its just pixels. Can you change any settings to improve it?

different areas have different definitions, i have some places to be nice and clear and can make out most objects, (even my wheelie bin) but in others i struggle to make out the street.

I can see my car in the works carpark ok

Some of the images are well old, Castleford in West Yorkshire for instance still has the xscape under construction (5 years old or something?).

Wow this update is great

Looks like most of the Leeds pics are at least a couple of years old, there are a lot of new buildings that arent in the photos (although they are no older than 1998 because i've spotted some bendy-buses on the streets, lol).

yep, they must be at least a couple of years old, they're just starting on clarence dock residential development (Which is now finished :lol and my office doesn't yet look complete

Great updates though, you can now see my car parked on my drive

Google Earth rocks

Last time I looked at GoogleEarth it was crap and it still is. A few cities in hi-res to keep the Americans happy, a few names stuck on but no detail other than a green mush, and no sign of an Update button...

Brilliant for my area.

The scans must be over a year old, my old car is in the drive.

you can see where i live in bristol (uni halls), but they are at least 2 years old as we now use some of the uni buildings that are being built and they were finished over a year ago.

They must be working their way north. My mates house in south Leeds is fine but mine is still blurry in north Leeds.
